10.45am – 12.00pm / WASM library orientation and tour / Unlock the secrets of the library. Find out how to access the library's resources to help you succeed in your studies.
12.00pm – 1.00pm / LUNCH
1.00pm – 1.10pm / Information and technology / All you need to know about IT on campus.
1.10pm – 1.20pm / Security on campus / Keeping safe and secure on campus.
1.20pm – 1.40pm / Tenant & legal advice / What you need to know as a tenant. Free information and legal advice.
1.40pm – 2.30pm / Getting involved in the community & multi faith services / Come along to this session and meet community groups. A great way to get involved in the local community.

Location: Graduates Hall, MacDonald Street, Kalgoorlie
Friday, 26th February 2016
8.45am – 3.00pm
Time / Topic / Info8.45am – 9.00am / Bus Tour of Kalgoorlie / See the sights of Kalgoorlie including the Hannan’s North Tourist Mine and learn about the history of mining. Be sure to bring your camera for some great pictures to send home.
11.30am – 1.00pm / Community and recreation stalls / Meet some of our community and recreation services.
12.00pm – 1.20pm / BBQ LUNCH / Provided for new and current students
1.30pm – 2.30pm / Official welcome / Official welcome by WASM Director Professor Sam Spearing
Introduction to WASM staff and Student Guild Representatives.
2.30pm – 3.00pm / Introduction to departments / All students to meet in Building 703- Administration Building
You will then be ushered to:
- Mining and Engineering: Hobson Theatre
- Metallurgy Engineering: Room 3211, next to Hobson Theatre
