Complete the first and second columns by identifying your processor brand, type and its corresponding factor from the Oracle Processor Core Factor table located at An invoice will be provided after calculating the annual cost based on the information provided below. The formula that will be used is the number of processors multiplied by the annual processor rate published on the EIS web site ($2,459.74 for fiscal year FY16/17).

Description of Application(s)

The Oracle Campus License contract allows an unlimited number of full-time and part-time students, faculty and staff Internet users to access any of the Campus Wide Programs licensed under the contract providing the access is for viewing, querying, or adding data associated with university administrative, teaching, research or community service functions. Please briefly describe the application and how the application(s) support the administrative, teaching, research or community service functions of the university.

Departmental Staff Using Oracle

Please list the name and titles of all technical staff who need access to Oracle Metalink. Department technical contacts may only use Metalink for database servers listed on this form. Department must notify EIS when Metalink users terminate employment with the department so their access can be removed.

Additional Terms and Conditions Based on Oracle Contract with TAMU

1. Oracle products obtained will be used solely for internal TAMU data processing operations.

2. Oracle programs acquired under this contract are to be installed exclusively on CPUs owned, leased to, or under the sole control of Texas A&M University.

3. I acknowledge the acquisition of only the right to use the programs and not the right of ownership.

4. I agree not to cause or permit the reverse engineering, disassembly, or recompilation of the programs.

5. I agree to use the software only in accordance with the terms and conditions of TexasA&MUniversity’s contract with Oracle and in accordance with any applicable University Rules and SAPs, and System Policies and Regulations.

6. If this agreement is terminated by my department, by TexasA&MUniversity, or by Oracle, I will cease using the applicable programs and certify within one month that programs have been destroyed or returned to Oracle.

7. I will provide Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) with an update of any change in usage of the Oracle products covered under the campus license.

8. My department’s technical contact may receive an Oracle Metalink Support ID. I understand, however, it is possible that Texas A&M University will need to limit the number of support contacts using the campus license, and if this were to happen, departmental database administrators would need to first contact Texas A&M University’s central database administration staff for support instead of contacting Oracle directly.

9. Department technical contacts may only use Metalink for database servers listed on this form.

10. I will notify EIS when Metalink users terminate employment with the department so their access can be removed.
