Duties & Responsibility’s
1. Ensure HSE management system is implemented in accordance with Qatar laws & regulations, international standard and HSE plan.
2. Responsible for ensuring that all HSE related issues reported to HSE MANAGER / Project management.
3. Prepared daily / weekly /monthly report regarding HSE matters as required by project
4. Undertake regular HSE inspection for the project on site to ensure that the HSE
rules and regulations are adhered
5. Direct guide site employees based on general policies and management guidance and providing interpretation of compliance requirements. Carryout also briefing/ TBT to all concerned and assist HSE manager during all HSE related HSE trainings.
6. Authority to stop work if its deemed that an IDLH situation/ condition is present and the worker / personnel are directly exposed.
7. Ensuring all serious accident and incidents area investigated with appropriate corrective actions stipulated and undertaken with in reasonable amount of time.
8. Review project documentations MS/RA and ensure all hazards work site is covered within these documents.
9.Ensure the permit to work in place to work are in place for additional control of hazardous activities such as confined spaces & lifting operations & hot work & height works& excavations.
10.Attend all appropriate site project meeting and give account of HSE concerns.
11. To discuss report and follow up all sort of unsafe acts / unsafe conditions at work site.
12. Identified good HSE practices as well as to find the way and means of improvement
Ensure all employees are aware of HSE procedures and emergency prepared plans.
13. Prepare site safety instructions, NCR / SOR & IR forwarded to HSE manager /SRE when safety violations area identified.
