PROPOSED FURNISHING AND ELECTRICAL WORK , AIR CONDITIONERS AND BRAND EQUITY BOARD AT VARIOUS proposed ATM CENTRES.

Sealed tenders on item wise rate basis are invited from contractors for the proposed interior furnishing, electrification work (authorised dealers of A/C can apply for air conditioning work) for proposed new ATM of Bank at SHIVAMOGA region viz Tender forms can be collected from the office of the Deputy. General Manager, Vijaya Bank, Regional Office, IST floor, OPP APMC GUEST HOUSE SAGAR ROAD SHIVAMOGA -577204 up to 4.00 pm on or before 04.06.2016 and also can be down loaded from the Bank’s web site Last date for submission of filled in tender formats is 4.00 PM on 22.06.2016

Additional instructions to bidders

the size of the ATM premises may change as per the site requirements. As such, the measurements may change from one ATM to another. Work of ATM is to be done as directed by the Bank’s Panel Architect. Sketch of ATM site will be given with work orders. Actual measurement will be arrived at after it is measured by Architect in the presence of Branch staff. Payment will be made as per the actual measurement. Hence the rates to be quoted unit wise. .

The Validity of rates quoted will be for a period of one year from the date of acceptance and ATM sites which are ready will be informed to the bidders and they have to do the required work as per the agreed rates.

Any item of the work in part or full may be deleted from the tender during execution as per Bank’s requirement and the decision of the Bank will be final.

Vijaya Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any tender irrespective of the lowest bidder without assigning any reasons

GENERAL RULES AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GUIDANCE OF THE TENDERS

1. Tenderers are expected to visit the site before quoting the rates and should satisfy themselves as to the nature and conditions of work and facilities available etc.

1. The tenderers are requested to examine the enclosed tender form and conditions mentioned in the tender.

1. The tenderers should quote the rates in figures. The amount for each item should be worked out and the requisite totals shall be given. The total amount shall be written both in figures and words. All pages of the tender documents should be signed.

1. The rates quoted in this tender shall be for measured finished works and shall include all charges including cost of materials, transportation, freight charges, taxes etc. complete.

1. The work is to be completed within the stipulated time from the date of awarding the contract by the Bank.

1. The successful tenderer shall give all necessary personal attention to the work during the progress of the work, and also until the expiry date of “Defects Liability period” which is 12 months.

1. The employer reserves the right to reject any portion of work or materials which is found unsatisfactory and not upto the standard.

1. A retention amount of 5% will be retained from each running bill and final bill, shall be refunded to the successful tenderer after the defects liability period on certification of the Architect after making necessary adjustments towards defects if any.

9. Income Tax at prescribed rate will be retained from each running bill which will be remitted to Income Tax Authorities.

10. Sales Tax or any other tax on materials in respect of this contract shall be payable by the contractor and the employer will not entertain any claim.

11. The successful contractor shall have to pay 1% of the estimated amount shown in the tender per week as liquidated damages for the delay in completing the work within the scheduled time subject to a maximum of 10% of the total value.

1. Successful tenderer will open an account in any of our branches and all bills will be paid to this account.

2. Whenever contractor proposes to use equivalent makes (i.e. other than specified), the same shall be done only after prior approval of the Bank. Any additional expenditure and time due to this shall be solely on contractor’s account and no claims whatsoever shall be entertained.
