Brief introduction of apps:
This app can provide a lot of news about political, economic, environmental and entertainment topics. They are form Hong Kong, Mainland China or the other countries. It can let the readers know more about the social issues immediately at any time or in anywhere. It has high trusting authority simply because the content contains less personal opinions. In addition, it is well known as many famous celebrities love to write editorial articles in order to share their different views on particular topics. The target language that the app uses is Chinese. It is more easily to be understood by Hong Kong citizens.
Strengths about this app:
In this app, I can increase my study effectiveness as I can widen my horizon by reading various news. For instance, I can know different views of different stakeholders. Also, I can find particular news according to their dates or topics. It is really convenient for me. That is because I can save more time to get what I exactly want by collecting particular information in this app. On the other hand, this app is totally free. I can save more money as I need not buy the newspapers in seven-eleven or other bookshops. It can benefit many students and teachers.
Areas that need improvement:
This app should reduce the pop out advertisements because they are really annoying. Also, I hope this app can add the sharing function so that I can share the favorite news with my friends through Facebook or WeChat. It can let more people to know more about this app and also increase the awareness to our society. Last but not least, I suggest this app can increase the quality of the news content. For example, the information can be more detailed. More videos and pictures can be added as well. By those ways, the readers will feel interested about those news and be attracted to read them.
