1. Preparing the pump
Fit the included reducing adapter on to the hose and secure it with pipe clips.
2. Installing the pump
The pump can be mounted in any position on a level metal, stone or wooden surface. The pump must be protected from splashes of water and must not be exposed to surrounding temperatures exceeding 50ºC.
3. Initial operation and adjustment
Connect the suction hose to the pump intake (left) by means of the reducing adapter and secure it with a pipe clip. Proceed similarly with the discharge hose.
Now connect the pump to the mains electricity supply.
Use a screwdriver to set the required speed. The adjusting screw is located on the top left-hand side of the front of the pump. The sealing plug must be removed beforehand.
4. Operation
The pump is fitted with an automatic interval timer as standard. This switches the pump on and off alternately at 10 second intervals. This allows the pump to be left permanently activated with no restrictions at all.
5. Maintenance
The pump is maintenance-free. All mechanical components have had permanent lubrication applied in the factory. The only maintenance required is the replacement of old hoses. As these hoses are subjected to high mechanical loads, we recommend you give them a visual check regularly.
6. Replacing a hose
To replace a hose, switch the pump off when the rotor arm is in a vertical position. Remove the front cover and pull the hose out of the holder. Fit the new hose by following the reverse procedure. Please observe the coloured markings on the square collar.
7. Guarantee
Your dosing pump is guaranteed for 6 months after the purchase date. This guarantee covers all defects in materials manufacturing. Units with guarantee claims are to be sent carriage-paid, in their original packaging and with the purchase receipt enclosed, to you specialist pet shop or directly to:

8. Guarantee exclusions
Excluded from this guarantee are claims for compensation or damages exceeding the value of the device. This exclusion also applies to damages resulting from improper use and, in particular, to damage resulting from disregard of the operating instructions.
9. Replacement hoses
Replacement hoses are available at your specialist pet shop or directly from us.
