OPENEYE CM-511 PTZ CAMERA

1.SUMMARY

1.01 SUMMARY

The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be a fully featured, reliable PTZ dome camera designed for most indoor and outdoor installations. The CM-511 camera shall have a 36x optical zoom lens with a resolution of 540 TVL in the NTSC video format. The camera shall have a True Day/Night (TDN) function that utilizes a mechanical IR cut filter for low light scenarios. The camera shall be housed in a versatile housing that is suitable for both indoor and outdoor installations, with an ingress protection rating (International Protection Rating) of IP66 against dust and water.

The CM-511 PTZ camera shall receive commands from control devices (e.g. OpenEye CA-501J controller keyboard or OpenEye XR-Series DVRs) through a two-wire RS-485 connection. The RS-485 network shall allow up to 32 domes, connected in series, with a maximum length of 4,000 feet (1,219 meters) using 24-guage wire. The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have the OPTIX III protocol built in as the default control protocol. The CM-511 PTZ camera shall also have, at minimum, the following control protocols available: Pelco P, PelcoD, VCL, JVC and Kalatel-485, as well as others.

2. SPECIFICATIONS

2.01 CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS

The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a ¼” Sony EXview CCD imaging sensor.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall use a high quality Sony Effio imaging digital signal processor (DSP).
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall output a signal that meets with the NTSC video signal standard.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall operate with a minimum illumination of 0.1 Lux in color and 0.01 Lux in black and white (50 IRE @ F1.6).
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be a true day/night (TDN) camera. As such the CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a removable IR cut filter that shall be mechanically movable, and can be removed in low light situations for better visibility.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have the following user adjustable settings regarding the Day/Night function: Automatic, On and Off.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a wide dynamic range (WDR) function that allows for increased visibility in varying lighting conditions. The WDR function shall be on by default.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a minimum resolution of 540 TVL.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a signal to noise ratio of less than 50 decibels (dB) when automatic gain control is turned off.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a zoom lens with a focal length from 3.4mm to 122.4mm, which creates a zoom total of 36x.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a fixed iris. The iris shall be fixed at F1.6.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be capable of both internal and line lock video synchronization.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall offer both automatic white balance (AWB) and manual adjustment of white balance.
The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have an auto white balance range of 2,000K to 10,000K.

2.01PTZ SPECIFICATIONS

1.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have the OPTIX III PTZ protocol built in as the default control protocol.

2.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have other control protocols available; including – but not limited to – Pelco P, Pelco D, VCL, JVC and Kalatel-485, as well as others.

3.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have an optical zoom equal to 36x.

4.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a Pan range that is an endless 360 degrees.

5.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a tilt rage of -10° to 190°

6.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall support up to 256 preset positions using the OPTIX III control protocol.

7.The preset accuracy shall be within no less than ±0.225°

8.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a programmable move speed that shall be 5° per second minimum and 400° per second maximum.

9.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be capable of storing and recalling 8 pattern tours.

10.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be capable of storing and recalling 8 Tour patterns consisting of stored preset positions.

11.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall be capable of storing and recalling 4 “Auto-scan” tours, consisting of two preset positions that the camera shall scan between.

12.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall support 16 “Privacy Mask” areas.

13.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall support 16 Zone Titles with a maximum of 20 characters for each title. Each view area’s title can be named with a privacy mask ID number for future reference.

14.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a home setting that the camera shall return to after a user defined amount of time that shall be a minimum of 1 minute and a maximum of 128 minutes. When the auto-home setting is activated, it shall call a Preset Tour, a Pattern Tour, an Autoscan Tour, or a Preset position.

15.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have a picture function that shall include an image flip function that can be turned on and off through the OSD menu.

16.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall include a Digital Slow Shutter function for low light situations.

17.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall include both auto and manual focus operation.

18.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have 8 physical alarm inputs and one alarm output.

19.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall have an on screen display (OSD) menu that shall conform to the following table showing menu navigation (the star symbol indicates the factory default):

This operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

3. SUPPORT

3.01 SUPPORT

1.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall come with an extensive support structure, including a 1-800 number for technical service, pre and post sales assistance, direct points of contact, and access to online sales and technical support.

2.Technical Support shall be available 24 hours per day, seven days per week to all integrators and dealers free of charge.

3.02 WARRANTY

1.The CM-511 PTZ camera shall come with a 2 year warranty with the first year including advance replacement service.
