GENERAL INFORMATION

PAGEANT MODELING TAKES PRECEDENT OVER MISS KEYSTONE.

Food will be available throughout the day. No alcoholic beverages or smoking permitted on Geneva College Campus. Violators will be asked to leave.

Door/Admission charge of $25.00 per family – send with entry form. Twirlers not competing must pay admission charge.

Photographer will be available throughout the day.

Huge separate practice gym will be available.

Accidents, property loss or injuries will not be the responsibility of Geneva College, contest director or sponsor.

No spectators are permitted on the competition floor. No one is permitted to approach any judge. See contest director if you have any questions. Video taping is to be done from the upper stands only.

It is each contestant’s responsibility to report to his/her lanes on time or a penalty will be given by the judges. If there is a conflict, please report to the contest director.

Solo only determines classification (Novice, Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) for Pageant. No Double Entering Permitted In Pageant.

Holiday Inn on Route 18 (of Exit 13 of PA Turnpike) has set aside a block of rooms for our contestants. Please identify yourself as being with the Miss Majorette of PA Pageant in order to obtain these rooms at the special rate of $109 + tax. The rooms will be held for us until April 25, 2012. Route 79 North to PA-60 North toward airport. Take PA-551 exit (exit 31) toward PA-18 Beaver Falls. Follow PA-155 to Route 18.

Beginner/Intermediate Contestants must wear twirl or strut costume for the Modeling portion of the Pageant.

Novice Basic Skills Pageant (NBSP) is for girls

whose solo twirling status is Novice. Contestants will model in costume – NO INTERVIEW; basic strut, novice solo

College pageant is for girls who are presently enrolled full time in college or graduate in 2012. Twirling portion – first half, one baton; second half, novelty, if desired (no fire). College majorettes not winning state title may still compete in national pageant. No props.

The title winner, royalty (first runner-up and second runner-up), beginner and intermediate pageant winners are eligible to compete in the Miss Majorette of America and beginner and intermediate pageants at the University of Notre Dame July 16 through 20, 2011. Please notify contest director A.S.A.P. if you are unable to attend.

**ALL CONTESTANTS MUST DRESS IN TWIRL OR STRUT COSTUME FOR AWARDS CEREMONY**
