Important Notes
1. A VOLUNTEERS’ MEETING to explain how the event is organised, your part in it, and for you to meet the organisers and other volunteers is held on Wednesday 13th December at 8.00pm at
Manvers Street Baptist Church, Bath, which is opposite the BANES Council One-Stop Shop.

2. MORNING DRIVERS will be told who to collect during the week before Christmas. This may seem very late, but the final guest list will not be confirmed until close to Christmas Day. Please contact your passenger(s) as soon as possible. If you are unable to contact a passenger, or have any other difficulty, please contact . When collecting passengers, please make sure they have their house key with them before they leave home.

3. AFTERNOON DRIVERS should arrive at Kingswood School at about 3:45pm and be prepared to take whoever needs transport at that time. Ensure you know where your passengers live before leaving as some of them sometimes forget the way (A map / SatNav and torch are very useful). You might also make sure they still have their house key with them!

4. DONATIONS If you would like to contribute to the cost of Open Christmas, please send your donation to: Carolyn Bruce-Jones, Amoril House, 278 High Street, Batheaston, BA1 7RA. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Churches Together in Bath – Open Christmas’

5. TRANSPORT There is no public transport on Christmas Day. Therefore, you must walk, or beg a lift or drive your own car. Please park on the main road or Fonthill Road, (Fonthill Road is a turning off Lansdown Road at the side of the school). PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE SCHOOL BUILDINGS SINCE THIS SPACE IS USED FOR DROPPING OFF GUESTS.

6. IT’S A PARTY The day is one to enjoy, so Christmas jumpers and festive outfits are applauded. Volunteers are also provided a free Christmas Lunch, so please arrive an hour early if you are on an afternoon shift so that you can eat before you start. Morning shift may mean taking your lunch after all of the guests have been served. Volunteers eat their lunches in the dedicated volunteer room.

7. Should you for any reason not be able to attend and do your volunteering please let Roger know at:
