OPEN CALL FOR REMONT GALLERY EXHIBITION PROGRAMME 2019

Remont – Independent Artistic Association announces an open call for exhibition proposals for Remont Gallery during 2019.
The programme concept of Remont Gallery is based on promotion and afirmation of innovative artistic practicies thatdeal with artistic media in a consistent manner, at the same time maintaining sofisticated connectionwiththe position of artist and art in the present.

Open call is for:

  1. Solo exhibitions (8 terms)
  2. Author exhibitions (2 terms)
  3. Oneday presentations / projections / promotions / discussions

Required submission documentation:

  1. Contact details (including a valid e–mail adress)
  2. Project description up to 2000 characters in length
  3. Visual documentation (up to 10 illustrations of proposed project)
  4. CV
  5. Proof of payment of the registration fee costs – 20 EUR for foreign citizens, 1000 din. for citizens of Republic of Serbia

Who can apply:

The Call is open to all citizens of Republic of Serbia and any foreign citizens who aim to improve and promote innovative, critical and experimental art and culture. Jury will only considernew projects which are not presented in Belgrade before.

CONDITIONS

  • Selected projects have to be ready for realization within the gallery programme starting from January 2019.
  • Authors whose projects are selected are obliged to accept the exhibition terms assigned by the gallery.
  • Artists are obliged to realize the exact project which is accepted in the competition. In case of significant change of proposed project Remont team reserves the right not to accept changes.
  • Authors are obliged to collect art works from gallery space within 2 weeks after the show.
  • The competition material will not be stored / returned!

Remont provides:

  4. Available technical equipment

Exhibiter provides:

  1. Transportation of works
  2. Aditional equipment and technical support
  3. Travel and accomodation expenses
  4. Other printed and promotional materials (if desired)

DEADLINE

Applications will be accepted until 6 pm on Monday, 17th of September 2018.

Applications sent after this deadline won’t be considered!

Results of the Open Call will be announced no later then 21 day after closing of competition. All the participants will be informed about results via e-mail.
