CLASS 3: PC70

All children in a team must be 12 or under on 1/1/18. Any age can enter as an individual. Class may be split depending on numbers. No combination to have competed at 85cm or above.

Dressage Test: The Pony Club Introductory Dressage Test 2007

(To encourage our younger competitors, this test may be commanded, 12 and under only).

From M3: Junction 3. Take A322 to Woking. At next roundabout take 1st turning signposted A319 to Chobham. Take 1st exit on next roundabout, then turn right onto Chertsey Road A319. Bear left onto Old Chertsey Road. The field is about a mile on the left (will be sign posted).

From M25: Junction 11 take the A320 signposted Woking. At roundabout turn left A320 to Woking. At next roundabout turn right onto A319 and IMMEDIATELY right onto Foxhills Road. At the T-junction turn left onto Stonehill Road. The field is on the right hand side approximately 2 miles.

£10 Refundable bib deposit, payable on the day.

Competitors may walk the course between 2pm - 5pm on Saturday 21st April 2018.

THE GATE WILL BE LOCKED AT 5PM

DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES and please clean up after them.

Rules and Conditions of Entry

1. No horse may be entered in more than one class. No competitor may enter more than two horses.

2. No Head Cams allowed.

3. Correct riding attire to include hats to current pony club rules must be worn and fastened when mounted. Back protectors (with a BETA standard 3 at least 2009) are compulsory when on the cross country course and preferably should be worn when show jumping. No earrings/piercings or jewellery to be worn. If you have a skeleton key a spare must be left with the secretary.

Medical arm bands are to be worn by all competitors competing in the cross country section.

4. Entry fees refunded only on production of doctor’s or veterinary certificate. A £5 admin fee will be deducted.

5. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.

6. Health & Safety; the organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.

7. The judge’s decisions are final. Objections to be lodged with the secretary in writing within 30 minutes together with a deposit of £25.00.

8. All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The B&SC Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.

9. All competitors must walk over the bridge during the cross country phase. Failure to do so will result in elimination! ! !

10. Misuse of whips or spurs or blatant bad language will incur elimination.

11. Outside assistance will result in elimination.

12. The organisers reserve the right to alter the timings of the phases and to retain £5 per entry in case of cancellation.
