VISITORS AGREEMENT

All visitors to Covanta operated facilities are warmly welcomed. However, to make it possible for Covanta to allow access to its plants, all visitors must be subject to the following:

  1. Visitors will be required to sign the Visitor’s Register. No visitor can be allowed to enter the facility buildings or premises (other than Administrative offices) unless escorted by an authorized representative of Covanta.
  1. All visitors must follow the directions given by facility personnel, observe facility rules and regulations, particularly those related to personal safety, and wear hard hats, safety glasses and other items appropriate to the visit.
  1. Photography or video shall be allowed only with prior approval of a Covanta representative authorized to grant such approvals. If photography or video is allowed, visitor agrees to provide Covanta with copies upon request at Covanta’s expense.
  1. Officials and employees of government agencies visiting in their official capacity are asked to declare the purpose of their visit and to provide credentials if requested.
  1. Visitors will not publish, disclose or use oral or written confidential information which is obtained in the course of the visit without the prior approval of a Covanta representative authorized to grant such approvals. If the visitor is already subject to a separate confidentiality agreement, that agreement remains in full force and effect.
  1. To the extent not prohibited by law or public policy, and in consideration of being allowed to visit the facility, visitors agree to assume all risks of personal injury, loss, damage to their property and for themselves, their heirs or others claiming through them, waive any right to make claims for any such injury, loss or damage in any manner against Covanta, its affiliated companies, their directors, officers, employees, agents or representatives.

VISITOR REQUIREMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

A Visitors Agreement Form must be signed by each individual on the tour.

OR

For school tours; the Principal and Teachers must sign a copy of the Form.

OR

For other minors (Scouts, etc.) the parents must sign the Form.

Park in the Visitor/Employees parking area at the administration building.

The parking lot is part of the truck traffic route; do not block other traffic, do not loiter in parking lot.

Arrive early; plan for travel time.

Wait quietly; you will start your tour in an office where people are working.

Dress for the weather; parts of the tour may be out doors.

No open toe shoes, no tall heels, no sandals, no bare feet.

Long pants are recommended.

A hard hat and glasses will be loaned to and must be worn by all visitors and tour participants.

Cameras, video, and motion picture cameras will only be permitted inside the administration area or on the outside of the facility.

Approval to take additional pictures during a tour is required prior to arrival on-site at the OCRRF.
