Online Teaching & Learning Journals, Blogs, & Conference Information

Online Journals

You have access to hundreds of journals through the Miller Information Commons’ (MIC) databases. There are a couple of ways to get access:

·  If you know the name of the journal you wish to access, go to “eJournals by Title” on the Library’s homepage: http://zj3yz7er5g.search.serialssolutions.com/

o  From there, enter the title of the journal, and you will see what databases provide access (if we do have access) and the dates of access for each database:

·  You can also find a list of journals in a specific subfield of education by going to the “eJournals by title” page.

o  To find our journals that cover “Education: Theory & Practice,” select “Social Sciences” from the dropdown menu under “Browse ejournals by subject” and hit “Search”:

````
o  From there, you will see a list of subjects below “Education.” Choose “Theory and Practice of Education” to browse the journals we have access to.
Should you want to share an article from one of our databases, you can create enhanced URLs that will allow for easy access to our subscribed resources. To do so, first find and copy the “Permalink” or “Permanent” link from the article page. This can be at the bottom of the article or located somewhere to the left or right of the page. This is NOT the address bar link; instead, look for something like this:
Then, go to the Library’s Link Creator page, and paste in your stable URL/permalink:
If you are having any trouble, reach out to one of our librarians!
