Migration Confirmation
As a follow up to last week’s communication regarding the ACSMI email migration, we are confirming that the migration to a new email system will take place this evening (Tuesday, April 3).

You should have received the appropriate software upgrade on your computer, along with a one-page information sheet explaining how Outlook works. Please contact the NSC (contact information below) if your software has not been upgraded or you did not receive the information sheet.

Online Outlook Training

Online training for new Outlook users will be conducted on April 9 and April 10 at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you are interested in participating in one of these sessions, please email your preferred time and date to . The training vendor, New Horizons, will send an email to your acsmi.com email address with log in information 24 hours ahead of the training session. The ACS Training team will send out information regarding advanced Outlook training toward the end of this month.

Legacy Email Forwarding

As of April 4, all legacy email accounts will be forwarded automatically to acsmi.com email. Below is more detail about email forwarding on specific systems.


Forwarding already underway in some markets
In several markets, Advance Central Services Michigan user e-mail from legacy mail servers are now being forwarded to the new Advance Central Services Michigan Exchange email servers (acsmi.com). These markets are:

·  Kalamazoo Gazette (kalamazoogazette.com)

·  Bay City Times (bctimes.com)

·  Flint Journal (flintjournal.com)

·  Saginaw News (saginawnews.com)

·  Advance Newspapers (advancegr.com)


Auto-reply messages being created in some markets
Local system administrators in some markets are creating automatic reply messages on legacy e-mail boxes. These markets include:
