Eligibility to Compete- To be eligible to compete in these trials, the dog must be 6 months of age and registered or beeligible for registration with the CKC, have an ERN, PEN or a CKC Miscellaneous Certificatenumber. A dog may be spayed, neutered or debarked.

Bitches in season - Bitches in season are not permitted to compete under C.K.C. Rules. We will refund all entry and listing fees if a bitch comes into season after closing date, upon presentation of a veterinarian’s certificate, certifying the bitch was in season within the 10-day period preceding the trials. This certificate must be delivered to or reach the Trial Secretary before the trial commences.

Obedience Classes offered -All regular classes will be offered (Pre-Novice, Novice A, B & C, Novice Intermediate, Open A, B, Utility A, B) and Wildcard Classes for Novice, Open A and Utility A.

Obedience Prize List - Flat ribbons will be given for all qualifying scores.Rosettes for qualifying First placement for. Flat ribbons for all 2nd, 3rd & 4th placements. Title rosettes will be available.

Important Notice to Obedience Exhibitors - There is no limitation on the number of trials at which a dog may be entered as a ‘listed dog’,except that a dog which has obtained three qualifying scores at obedience trials held underC.K.C. rules, may not continue to compete at licensed obedience trials held under the Club’srules until the dog is registered individually with the C.K.C. Foreign born and owned dogs, pleaserefer to Event Registration Number (ERN) information listed elsewhere.

Obedience Trial Rules and Regulations - The Exhibitor is responsible for knowing and complying with the Obedience Rules andRegulations of the Canadian Kennel Club. Section 20.7 of the Regulations states: It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer or competitor at an Obedience or Rally Trial held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the CKC shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indication that this has occurred.

Same Day Entries–Will be accepted, providing the limit for the trials has not been exceeded. Entries will be accepted up to one hour before the opening of the trial being entered.

Entry fees -

Entry fee per dog per trial ...... $28.00 HST inc

Listing fee per entry per trial if not CKC reg’d ...... $10.00 HST inc

Exhibition only fee per dog per trial………………………………..$10.00 HST inc

If the entry has no CKC individual registration number, an E.R.N. or a P.E.N. is required and mustappear on the entry form. A listing fee of $10.00 per entry is also required.

NSF Cheques - Tendering of a dishonoured cheque for entry fees shall be considerednon-payment of entry fees, and is an offence punishable by disciplinary action andcancellation of awards (6.3.3 of the Obedience Trial Rules & Regulations)

All fees include H.S.T. and must be paid in Canadian Funds. USA Exhibitors werequire money orders in Canadian funds, negotiable in Canada.

CKC Non-Member Participation Fee / Non-member participation fee - An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to aCanadian non-member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choiceeither to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failureto comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be canceled.The Premium List must carry a note stating that “these fees apply only to dogswholly owned by non-CKC members and are not applicable to CKC members.

From the West: HWY-401 E toward Cornwall. Merge onto HWY- 416 N via exit 721A toward Kemptville/Ottawa. Take the Dilworth exit # 42. Turn left on to Dilworth Rd and drive 1 km. Turn right on to Fourth Line Road and in 8km you will reach the destination - 6361 Fourth Line Road.

From the East: HWY- 401 W toward Kingston. Merge onto HWY-16 N via exit 721 toward HWY- 416 N/Kemptville/Ottawa/RTE-416 N. Take the Dilworth exit # 42. Turn left on to Dilworth Rd and drive 1 km. Turn right on to Fourth Line Road and in 8km you will reach the destination - 6361 Fourth Line Road.

Camping - There are NO camping facilities available at the trial location.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this agility trial and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and win ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold this club, its members, directors, officers, agents, superintendents, sponsors of the events, or trial secretary and the owner of the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or upon the trial premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto. I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim and I (we) further agree to fold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of this dog by disappearance, theft, death, or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage, injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this trial, howsoever such injuries death or damage to property may be caused.
