On the Internet, Some Home Buyers Find a House of Cards

There are many scams that take place throughout the world. Some that can be prevented and some that are just so common that they are uncontrollable. The internet itself is used worldwide which lead to people using fraud and the internet together to deceive people and take advantage of their lies. There are many things about the internet that makes use proud of the technology that sometimes we don’t find in the library or in our books. The article states that many people were buying real estate online from sites such as eBay without even having information about the house. There are many people around the world and each person has their different view of beliefs and ethics. Ethically this is not the right thing to do but people continue to do so just for the greed of money. There are many frauds that do take advantage of innocent people and those who deserve it but belief is strong factor in life and no one has the right to wrong do anyone. I believe the internet is a huge verbose that takes a hateful impact in our society and individually. Many people believe that they are receiving something in return of their money. They are unaware of what will or has taken place. As the contract is agreed upon online, the buyers go to see the homes they believe they made a great deal on and then are not what the buyer was expecting. Many people find broken down houses or even find no house at the location. For example, a situation of buying a computer online took place with my uncle. He made a deal with a seller on eBay for a Toshiba computer, which would cost him 1,100 USD. The agreement was set, my uncle sent him the check and waited for his computer to arrive. The seller promised it would be sent to him in three to five business days but it was false. The computer never was sent so my uncle went to the police and the investigation remains to continue. In my opinion, this is not the right thing to do to anyone whether you know them or not. If this situation would take place any individual should go to a licensed agent. If this were to take place with me I would try to take action into my own hands and file a report to find the person or persons who have scammed me or someone I know. The best way to avoid this experience avoids buying or making any sort of agreement with anyone over the internet. The internet is a useful source to use but at the same time there are people who take advantage of the technology. Those who use the internet for there own greed and benefit aware many people to not to trust a person behind a computer screen. The internet can make us believe that the person on the other side is being honest with us. Not everyone online is dishonest but we should not take such a risk to put our self through such a big ordeal. We all need to come together to solve or even find a way to resolve this serious matter that takes place all around us and towards innocent people who are unaware of the dishonesty that takes place.
