Chapter 1: The Murder

On New Years Eve, on a cold winter night, the snow was falling on the rooftops. The city was quiet, too quiet. All of asudden all you could hear was “Noooooooo!!!” That was the voice of a nice, kind and generous woman; she goes by the name Mrs. Reznov.

Shewas walking outside to water her colorless flowers in the backyard of their faded familymansion when she saw her husband lying on the ground dead. The victim’s name was Victor Reznov, goes by Reznov. Mrs. Reznov called the detective, Abendigo. When Abendigo came, there was only one clue, a clean knife.

Chapter 2: Finding the “Murderer”

Abendigo is surprisingly a 5 year old African American boy and has a reputation for being very smart. When people are in need of crime solvingthey call him because he is the quickest at doing his job.

While Abendigo was investigating he found that there were faded fingerprints on the knife that had been cleaned of blood. He took those faded fingerprints and put them in his computer to run his search. He searched the internet for some Intel. Abendigo found a guy that wears a large robe with pockets and a velvety hood, his name is Lion Zord. Lion is a 20 year old man that is good at gambling.

Abendigo found Lion and asked him a question, “Where were you when the death of Mr. Reznov happened?” Lionanswered “I was at the casino.”

When Lion was being questioned another crime happened. Someone had robbed the radiant bank. Before Abendigo could investigate the new crime, he went to the shadowy casino to check to make sure Lion’s alibi was true.

Chapter 3: The Casino

While Abendigo was at the casino he asked the dazzling dealer if a guy with a large robe was there when Mr. Reznov was murdered. The dealer said yes. Lion’s alibi was true, so now he is no longer a suspect. Abendigo went back to question Lion again. Abendigo asked, “Why were your fingerprints on the knife at the crime?” Lion answered “Well, I cleaned that knife for a guy with a hood like mine, but without pockets.” Abendigo was confused with this answer, but not surprised. You see, Lion is known for having a strange and loopy personality and saying things that don’t make sense.

With this new information, Abendigo started his search for the new suspect. Abendigo decided to go to the radiant bank where the second crime happened.

Chapter 4: Finding the Real Murderer

When Abendigo got to thebank, there was broken glass and an open safe in the back of the bank.Abendigo asked one of the tellers what happened and the teller responded “There was a robbery!!!” He went outside and sawdirty money on the road. The robber must have dropped some money. Abendigo took out his magnifying glass and found finger prints on the money. He went home and put them in his computer and found a match, Rick Nezwik. Rick has a criminal past and has a mean personality.When Abendigo got to Rick’s house he remembered that Lion told him that Rick has a large hood and you can’t see his face. He knocked on the door and Rick answered it. Lion was right about Rick’s appearance.

Abendigo asked Rick where he was when the crime happened, just to see what he would say. Rick responded, “I was at the casino with Lion.” Abendigo told Rick that he asked Lion if someone was with him and he said no so Abendigo told Rick, “Your going to jail for murder and bank robbery!!!”

Later that year, Rick got out of jail and never went to jail again. Rick found a job at the police station because he is good at finding criminals. He is good at finding criminals because he used to be one and he knows the town very well. Rick was thinking “I chose a good job.”

Epilogue

This crime leaves many questions unanswered like: How did Abendigo know it was Rick? Why did Rick killReznov? How are Lion and Rick connected?

In conclusion Abendigo knew it was Rick because Abendigofound hisfingerprints on the money. When Abendigo talked to Rick after he identified his greasy fingerprints, Rick told him that he killed Reznov because Reznov stole a rare bug from him. Reznov is a rare bug collector. He collects rare bugs like the banded scarabid beetle.

Rick and Lion were friends when they were children but Rick moved away and Lion forgot about him, but Rick still remembered him. So he went his house with the knife and asked if Lion could clean the knife for him. Lion said yes, but he asked him what it was for and Rick said “I was chopping pork and I don’t have any think to clean it with.” So Lion did it. Rick put his oily gloves on and took the knife back to the crime, but Lion’s fingerprints were still on the knife. After all, that was Rick’s plan, to frame Lion.
