On joint motion of all Councilmembers present, the following resolution was offered at the request of Mr. Lee:

RESOLUTION NO. 116262

A resolution granting permission to Winning Our World International (WOW), represented by Ms. Marla Jean Clinesmith, 2060 Lincoln Ave., Pasadena, California 91103, to erect signs from March 1, 2011 to March 22, 2011 advertising their annual Community Outreach (WOW JAM) to be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 12:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. (actual event is from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm), at Cornerstone Christian Center, 6550 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Jefferson Parish Council of Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, acting as governing authority of said Parish:

SECTION 1. That permission is hereby granted to Winning Our World International (WOW), represented by Ms. Marla Jean Clinesmith, 2060 Lincoln Ave., Pasadena, California 91103, to erect signs from March 1, 2011 to March 22, 2011 advertising their annual Community Outreach (WOW JAM) to be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, from 12:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. (actual event is from 4:00 pm until 8:30 pm), at Cornerstone Christian Center, 6550 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA 70072.

SECTION 2. That said signs are to measure no more than eight feet by ten feet and a copy of this resolution shall be attached to each sign; and said signs be removed immediately after said event.

SECTION 3. That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Marla Jean Clinesmith, Local Coordinator, Winning Our World International (WOW), P.O. Box 6516, New Orleans, Louisiana 70174 and to all departments in connection therewith.

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:

The resolution was declared to be adopted on this the 23rd day of February, 2011.
