Teen Fitness Camp

On Behalf of Thatgirl Magazine I would like to invite your company to participate as a sponsor for our first annual summer 2007 “Fit for Life” Teen Fitness Camp. Our mission is to educate inner-city teen girls on healthy living, the importance of exercise, teach proper nutrition, and to encourage inner-city teen girls to stay “Fit for Life.”

Due to poor nutrition, the lack of exercise, the increase of diabetes, and obesity in our youth, we would like to teach teen girls to make wise food choices,to keep their minds and bodies healthy to decrease the risk of sickness and diseases. Our goal is to motive teen girls to make healthy living their lifestyle and to continue this lifestyle throughout their adult life.

The event is scheduled to be held atLos AngelesSouthwestCollege in their new gym Thursday, August 16, 20079:00am-4:00pm. Our target audience for this event is African-American and Hispanic teen girls ages 13-19. We hope to have the participation of 200-500 teen girls.

Thatgirl Magazine is an online teen girl magazine that discusses education, career, lifestyle, fashion, health and fitness and more. We need your support to help the youth in the community improve their quality of life and to have a successful teen camp. We are not a non-profit organization, however we are not currently a for profit online magazine.Our vision is to teach the youth a healthy way of eating and living, building self-esteem, and having life more abundantly.We will promote this event by passing out 5,000 flyers in the community, e-blast 10,000 flyers to online subscribersto teens and adults, and sending our press release with you as our sponsor to local news papers and television news. Your logo would be on all promotional materials. I hope your company can help us serve the community and sponsor this event.

The fitness camp activities will include:

Aerobics

Kick boxing

Palates

Hip Hop cardio

Nutrition

Self-esteem building

Note: Each class is one hour and their will beaone hour lunch break.
