Damon's December Athlete of the Month --Chaz McGrain
Kudosgo toChaz McGrain, senior wrestling captain, who currently has a current match record of 21-1. He is also the Findlay Duals champion, Willoughby South Rebel Invitational champion, Hudson Duals champion, runner-up in the 40-team Medina invitational. He was a State Wrestling qualifer in 2009. He also is an All-Ohio catcher on the 2009 baseball team. Congratulations to Chaz and best wishes throughout the season.
Cox to Tape Feb. 2 Boys Basketball Game; Airs on Cox TV Channel 45 on Following Weds. and Sun.
Cox Communications will be taping the February 2ndboys basketball game. The game will air thefollowing Saturday at 6:30 p.m. and then again the following Sunday at 3:00 p.m. on Cox TV Channel 45. Games are then available for 48 hours after the original game date and remain OnDemand (Cox Channel 1) throughout the entire season.
Open Wrestling Tournament March 12-13 for All Ages

Holiday Bulldog Apparel a Huge Success!
Ray Mileti,Jim and Karen Polcar along with numerous parent volunteers spent a Saturday in December selling Bulldog apparel to the community. The sale surpassed 2009 revenue numbers (in spite of the economy) by about 10%. Thanksagain to all the volunteers and to the many purchasers.And a big thank you to the cheerleaders who were on hand to wrappurchases as needed. We are sure there were many happychildren and adults Christmas morning. Thanks for your support.
5v5 Holiday Basketball Tournament a Slam Dunk!
Thanks to Roberto Sosic for organizing the highly successful 5 v 5 basketball tournament for 4th, 5th and 6th graders held last month during winter break. The tournament contines to gain popularity year over year and consistently sells out.Kudos to Roberto Sosic who puts thewholeevent together and to the many, many volunteers including parents and students who help it run smoothly.This event brings in an estimated $9,000 in profit which OFAB uses to support OF athletic programs.

Fun & Rewarding Ways to Support OFAB and Its Initiatives
Night at the Races -- Plan to attend a fun-filled night at the German American Club. Food, drink, prizes and horse racing fill the evening beginning at 6 p.m.Tickets to attend are $30/person (sold in tables of 8).Tons of awesome door prizes and big ticket items up for silent raffle.Horses are also available for sale for $30 each. (Visit ofathleticbooster.org to access the horse form.) You get to name your horse and have a chance to win $50 if it wins its race. Many more details to come soon.
Spring Bulldog Discount Card-- Support the OF Spring Teams who will be selling door-to-door Bulldog discount coupon cards from 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 13. Discount coupon cards are $20 each and have numerous coupons at nearby establishments. If you don't get a knock on your door March 13, please stop by the high school office to purchase one. They'll be available until the end of the year. Thank you!
$10 Bulldog Card
Bulldog cards (shaped like a credit card) are available for purchase at home events in the concession stand area and in the HS main office. Card gives you discounts/specials at various local establishments including KFC, Angelina's Pizza, Moosehead, Shakers IGA, Subway, Dunkin Donuts, Tony K's and more! The discounts can be used over and over again while the card is valid through August 2010.
