Close / CS invited Tracy Evans to come and talk to the Panel.
TE addressed the Meeting explaining some of the measures, in the Bill currently going through Parliament, and how they will affect tenants should the proposed Bill be given the Royal Assent.
Changes to tenancies in Social Housing and Housing Association properties are expected to be part of the final draft.
There was an informal question and answer session and then CS thanked TE for coming to talk to them.
TE then left the Meeting
CS and AA both attended the latest meeting of the Sunday Funday Panel and everything is progressing well. CS suggested that a tug-of- war might be a fun thing to do andwould only need a rope. It was thought that an EHL team versus an EBC team would be a good idea. JD confirmed that he would be running a ‘have a go golf ‘attraction.
AA confirmed that OTAP’s final accounts for the year 2015/2016 have been submitted to EHL. Final figures were available.
JD & KD said that they have not received a quote from Mears and ask when this can be expected. ST said that he would have one prepared by the following Tuesday.
CS proposed that MM be elected to the Panel and this was seconded by HB and approved by all.
KD was feeling unwell and she and JD left the Meeting.
CS said that most of this item has been covered under the Chair’s Report.
OTAP will have a Wine and Chocolate Tombola and a Teddy Tombola for the children.
SR said that St. Mary’s Court were not wanting any funding from us as the work has been done.
AA said that the plaque on our Presentation Bench had still not been changed. CB said that she would chase this for us.
