SundayRiver Ski/Snowboard Multi-Week Program
SundayRiver is located in Newry, ME and is about a 2-hourbus ride from OOB. This program is for OOBHigh School students and adults. Participants will be free to ski/board on their own with minimal supervision; however, mandatory check-in times are scheduled. All participants must ski/board with a partner at all times. Helmets are strongly encouraged for each participant. Participants are encouraged to purchase a helmet because rentals at SundayRiver are available only on a limited basis. All participants must purchase a transportation package, as well as travel on the OOB Recreation mini-bus.
General Information about Our Multi-Week Program
We provide registration and collection of fees, transportation and bus supervision. SundayRiver coordinates rentals with their own staff. Once skiers/boarders are on the mountain, our staff will not directly supervise them, however, a chaperone is available at all times for assistance and we may require a mandatory check-in at the mountain. Everyone should bring a snack, dinner, drink and/or money to purchase food each week. Up to two weather-related cancellations will be made up at the end of the session. How to Register
Registrations are first-come, first-served at the OOBRec Dept. or on-line at SundayRiver has its ownregistration form and waiver to be signedby a parent/guardian.
Refunds are NOT Available after December 12th, 2012
Pro-rated or weekly prices are not available.
WHO:OOB Students (Grade 7-12) and adults (min. of 10; max. of 14 for transportation)
DATES:Sundays, January 13, 27 February 3, 10(Make up: March 3, 10)
LESSONS:Are not included, but please ask us if you’d like to add them. We can do this!
BUS:Pick up/Drop off at OOB Recreation Department
TIME:Depart OOB Recreation Department 7:00 am
Depart SundayRiver at 4:00 pm. Return to OOBapproximately 6:00 pm.
A program release agreement must be signed by a parent or guardian at the time of registration.
