Arrival Time: No Arrivals Before 8:00 a.m. on 7/18 Without Prior Notification

If you are arriving on Wednesday, please notify show management in advance so that we can be sure your stalls are ready for you.

All participating horses must be AMHA registered. Stallions three years and older must have a stallion certificate in order to participate. All horses must be measured. Valid AMHA registration, current coggins (within 1 year), and health certificate within 30 days on out of state horses must be provided. The Equine Interstate Event Permit allows horses and their owners to travel to events in participating states for six months. The permit can be used in lieu of a 30-day certificate of veterinary inspection. Participating states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia and Virginia. Foals six months and younger do not require a coggins. Youth and/or amateur numbers must be provided. Stalls are $20.00 a day plus a 1 time $15 stall cleaning fee. Shavings are available at $7.50 per bag. Show off trailer fee $10. per horse. RV hook-ups are $25.00 per night (electric only) very limited hook-ups.

General Rules and Information:
This show is accredited and conducted under the 2013 rules and regulations of the American Miniature Horse Association. All horses must be registered with the American Miniature Horse Association. This show has three judges. Points and awards will be awarded by each judge. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st - 6th place. Championship Rosettea will be awarded for Grand Champions & Reserves, Youth and Amateur Supreme Champions, Supreme Halter Horse, Amatuer Supreme Halter Horse. High Point awards will be given to Amateur 1 Horse/1 Handler Combination, Youth 1 Horse/1 Handler, Performance (Open classes only), Classic Pleasure Driving, Country Pleasure Driving and Single Pleasure Driving.

Entry Fees: Pre-Entries must be postmarked by July 1st 2013.

Open Classes: $40.00

Amateur/Novice Classes: $30.00

Youth & Special Needs Classes: $20.00

Flat Fee Option Per Horse: $125.00 Pre-Entry; $150.00 Post-Entry

The Flat Fee Option is limited to 10 Classes per Horse and will apply to the first 10 classes

entered for that horse regardless of cost (i.e. regardless of whether they are open, amateur or

youth classes).

Post-Entries: Post-Entries will be accepted up to four classes preceding the class to be entered.

Post-Entry Fees: Additional $5.00 per class.

Youth Classes: All youth must have an AMHA Youth number to participate. An application may be filled out at the Horse Show Office day of show if needed. AMHA youth are those youth 18 years & under as of January 1, 2013.

Amateur An AMHA Amateur Card is required to participate in Amateur classes. Amateur cards are $10.00 to AMHA

Classes: members;$50.00 to non-members. Applications are available at the Horse Show Office. Amateurs showing in

Amateur/AOTE classes must be the owner of the horse or an immediate family member. AOTE horses must

not have been handled by a professional handler under any circumstance since December 31, 2012.

Special Needs Special needs exhibitors are welcome to show. We would appreciate advance notice if any special arrangements

Exhibitors: need to be made. Please contact the show manager.

Measuring: Measuring will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, July l8 through 8:00 p.m. and each morning thereafter from 7:00 am each day or at a scheduled time as requested in the show office. All horses must be measured. Exhibitor packets and numbers will be issued after measurement. A clear copy of your registration papers must be presented at measuring.

Paperwork All entry forms, copies of both sides of AMHA registration papers for each horse, lease agreements, Coggins papers

Requirements: (within 1 year), 30 day health certificate on out-of-State horses or The Equine Interstate Event Permit (see above). Copy of Amateur and/or Youth cards. Owners of senior stallions (3 yrs. & older) must present a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection for cryptorchidism to show management prior to participating in an AMHA approved show. A check/money order for payment sent to Show Manager Tracey Slagle. Checks made payable to Old Dominion Miniature Horse Club. Entries postmarked after the pre-entry deadline will be assessed a post-entry fee of $5.00 per class. Judges Evaluation Cards will be available in the Show Office, and may be completed on a voluntary basis.

Show Policy: Cruelty, abuse or inhumane treatment of any horse in the show ring, barn, stalls or on the park grounds

is strictly prohibited. The use of stimulants or depressants or any drug affecting the showing of a horse

is forbidden.

Refunds: No refunds will be given on any entries or fees. Substitutions will be accepted without penalty. This show will run rain or shine. Indoor arena.

PA System: It is the owner/handler/exhibitor's responsibility to be on time for classes. Announcements to the barn

area are a management courtesy.

Welcome to the Frying Pan Park Equestrian Center!

Stalls: All Stalls are 10x10 padded. Stalls are $20.00 a day plus a 1 time $15 stall cleaning fee. No more than 2 horses per stall. Shavings are available at $7.50 per bag. Show off trailer fee $10. per horse. Use of straw as bedding is prohibited. Pre-ordered shavings will be delivered. Shavings ordered at the show will have to be picked up, please contact the show manager so she can arrange for you to pick your up shavings. Stall cleanings to be dumped in designated areas only.

Arena/Ring: Indoor arena, show runs rain or shine! No use of the Arena and practice ring is allowed until Friday

Smoking: No smoking will be allowed in the barns, on deck, in the arena or in the horse show office.

From I-495: go west on I-66 to FFX County Parkway, Route 286 (was 7100). Go north on FFX County Parkway approximately 6 miles, to West Ox Road. Turn left on West Ox Road, and proceed 1.4 miles to park entrance on the right.

From I-66: take exit 55, FFX County Parkway, Route 286 (was 7100), north 6 miles. Turn left on West Ox Road. Go 1.4 miles to park entrance on the right.

From Dulles Toll Road: Route 267: use Exit 10, Route 657. Go south on Centreville Road approximately 1.5 miles to left on West Ox Road. Continue to park entrance on the left.

Also from Dulles Toll Road: Route 267: exit south on FFX County Parkway. Continue south on FFX County Parkway approximately 1.5 miles to West Ox Road. Turn right, and continue about 1.4 miles to park entrance on the right.

From Route 28: go east on McLearen Road, Route 668; left (north) on Centreville Rd., Rt. 657; right on West Ox Road to park on left.
