Your application cannot be considered for funding until we have received copies of the test score report for the above tests. Originals of the report are to be mailed to the U.W. Graduate Admissions Office. Please note that it takes up to six weeks for the score reports to be mailed after test administration.

PROPOSED PLAN OF STUDY AND RESEARCH: On a separate page, describe your research and study plans while at the U.W., note how this stay will affect your career and other anticipated study and experience which could follow the U.W. work. Please describe arrangements you and your advisor have made with faculty at the University of Washington to provide supervision for your studies here. If such contact has not already occurred you can write or call the Valle Program Director for names of faculty who could be interested in your area of study. Note that successful applicants are expected to complete a degree program and to be full-time students during the grant period. Valle funds cannot be awarded until applicants are admitted to the Graduate School.

Architecture and Landscape Architecture students should note that a portfolio is to be submitted together with the Valle application.
