Purpose
This form is to be used by C3 Accredited Employers who are seeking ChampionCompany Endorsement for Craft Training. All applicants must have an application on file with C3 as an accredited employer and be in good standing. Craft Training Endorsement levels are a separate process from the C3 accredited employer process.
This formprovides documentation to support the Champion company level endorsement. Companies will be endorsed as a Champion Craft Training Company when all the following are documented and verified:
  • Offers craft (skills) training
  • Tracks craft (skills) training
  • Offers 3 of the following 4 elements
  • Defined career paths for all craft positions
  • Structured training programs
  • Industry standard credentials/certifications (as applicable)
  • Ongoing training for existing workforce
  • Offers 2 of the following 3 elements
  • Links learning and development programs to company metrics/goals or performance management
  • Demonstrates a culture of people development
  • Supports industry wide workforce development
Please follow the instructions for each section. All responses (except signatures) should be printed or typed. All items in this document must be completed unless indicated otherwise. (note: complete application must be resubmitted if you have an existing endorsement at a lower level)
When returning the document to C3, please be sure that all supporting documentation is included with your electronic file via PDF, word document, or excel file. If paper documents are being submitted, please securely affix all supporting documentation to the application.

Entry = Position requiring no pre-requisite skills or training (ex – apprentice, helper)
Competent = Position that has achieved competency as basic craft worker (ex – journeyman, etc)
Senior = position that is a leader of other craft workers (ex –craftsman)

Section 3: Endorsement and Audit Policy Agreement

Contingent upon receipt of craft training program endorsement by Career Construction Collaborative (“C3”), the Company submitting this application, through the undersigned, as authorized representative of the Program, hereby agrees to the following conditions:
  1. Endorsement Determination
The Company shall be deemed “endorsed” when C3 has determined that the applicant meets the published standard for a “Recognized” Craft Training Program and has issued a formal certificate to applicant company. Upon issuance of said certificate, the Company may publicly display certificate on physical locations as well in electronic media including company webpages. Company agrees to remove said certificate if future audits by CE find them to be out of compliance with the published standard.
  1. Directory of Endorsed Companies
C3 will prepare and publish annually a Directory of Endorsed Companies containing a list of all companies and their respective endorsement level at the time of each publication.

Section 3 – Craft Training Review Audit
This audit checklist will be used by the C3 auditor to conduct the craft training review audit. All questions on the audit form will be covered during the audit. Additional questions may be asked for clarification purposes as deemed necessary by the auditor. This audit should take place in the same location that training plans are developed and administered. The audit for Champion level endorsement will take approximately eight (8) hours and may be conducted as one day or two half days. All materials collected by the auditor as supporting documentation will be retained by C3 for a period of five (5) years from the original application date. They will be part of the permanent endorsementapplication and kept fully confidential.
