OFFENCE FREE REWARD APPLICATION

What is the offence Free Reward?

This payment rewards you when you have finished your P1 and P2 licence stages without being convicted of a demerit point offence or had a period of licence disqualification, licence cancellation or suspension, or a period of ineligibility.

If you are eligible for the offence free reward (see below) you need to complete this application form and send to the Driver Licensing Unit, GPO BOX 1002, Hobart Tas 7001 or you can lodge it at any Service Tasmania shop.

If your application is approved you will receive a cheque for the amount equivalent to the fees paid for the P1 and P2 licence stages. It may take around 6 weeks before you receive this cheque.

To be eligible for the Offence Free Reward you must meet all the criteria below (please tick)

have been issued with a Tasmanian P1 licence on or after 25 August 2008

have been issued a full Tasmanian licence and held that full licence for a minimum period of 6 months

have completed both the P1 and P2 licence stages in Tasmania

have completed the P1 and P2 licence stage without

  • being convicted of an offence that has resulted in demerit points being recorded on your licence, and
  • being convicted of an offence that has led to a period of disqualification, licence cancellation or suspension, or a period of ineligibility

have not received the offence free award for another class of licence
