Description:

RPX (Remote procedure exchange)

RPX stands for Remote procedure exchange. Performs almost no processing; rather it routes all requests to the proper database subsystem. Client applications using the RPX include the Integrated Voice Response (IVR) system, the Prepaid Customer Care GUI (VASA), Watson Prepaid Etc. RPX is an application server, a single server that hides the complexity of all other interfaces needed from a front end application offering Prepaid Customer support. That server offers all those services via a single comprehensive API.

EPSI (Enriched Prepay Solutions Interface)

EPSI stands for Enriched Prepay Solution Interface which acts as abstraction layer between different client applications (WEB, Retail and Care applications) and backend systems like IN and NAP for T-Mobile Flex Pay and Mockingbird subscribers.

Prime Areas of Involvement:

  • Acting as single points of contact for RPX and EPSI applications which are very critical for T-Mobile, USA Business.

Description:

The concept behind the MVNO (Multi Vendor Network Operator) model is to “lease” T-Mobile network at a wholesale rate to an MVNO partner who in turn will resell T-Mobile service under its branding. The MVNO initiates an XML request to complete a transaction. The request is processed by Wholesale Web Service application and a synchronous response is sent back indicating the status of the request. The request is further processed and the Wholesale Web Service application interacts with the target T-Mobile billing system to complete the transaction. The final outcome is sent back as an asynchronous response to the callback location indicated in the initial XML request.

Description:

SmokeTestRunner is a web based tester tool for testing Flow services created by Web Methods developer tool. Initially it was a console based tester tool. Using SmokeTestRunner we can test individual or multiple services from different Integration Servers by giving host & Port. After connecting to an Integration Server it lists all packages/services residing on that Integration Server. We can select a service, if no smoke test exists for that user can create a new smoke test & test it using SAAJ API and if smoke tests already exists for selected service then user can run the individual test or all the smoke tests .Test results is displayed using AJAX with an option to Re-Run the individual test or all the tests for the service. Also user can edit the existing data the test.
