  3. Talks about Eastern University and promotes it
  4. Thanks all who support EAPE and their mission work
  5. Course of a year, 20 different college campuses
  6. “I don’t need God, I don’t need religion, I don’t care about Heaven, I don’t believe in Hell, I want to become a self-actualized human”
  7. Self actualized person: concerned about others, focused on the world around, craves justice, committed to peace and changing the world, peace of mind about themselves
  8. All these traits are traits of Jesus because no one else has these traits.
  9. Blessed those poor in spirit, actualized humans
  10. Blessed are those who are exhausted in interacting with people who hurt
  11. Talks about class at UPenn. Young man knocks on door and asks question then sits there…jumps to his death after. “They usually don’t say what’s actually going on”
  12. Blessed are those who are able to feel their way into other people’s souls
  13. Discusses Jesus’ apathy with others and exhaustion of listening
  14. Bearing one another burdens, blessed are those who mourn
  15. In Haiti: Trash in paths, and stench were overpowering, corpses of babies in mother’s arms. Josh crying and his heart was broken for what breaks Jesus
  16. Jesus wept. Blessed are those who weep.
  17. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness
  18. Asks students “How was the Holy land” and they said “It was blessed to be where Jesus was and walked”
  19. “Did you see where Jesus IS?” He is there in the Holy land, among the families that sleep uneasily. Jesus is in the Palestine children and community too. Jesus is where people lose their homes. Did you see Jesus in them?
  20. Blessed are the merciful and forgiving
  21. The pure in heart and those who act out of good motivations
  22. Art of Preaching story, had to write a sermon and the Professor writes on it “Dear Tony, you can’t convince people that you are awesome, and so is Jesus” blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the Earth
  23. Eastern Students go to wall between Arizona and Mexico. They went and celebrated Jesus with wine and bread, throwing them over the wall. Showing that governments can make boundaries, but in Christ we are all one.
  24. Valley Forge Christian College- prayer gathering before worship. Long prayer with eleven guys pressing on Tony’s head. Charlie hitchhikes and is in Tony’s car and Tony takes him home.
  25. Blessed are the peacemakers, you are called to reconcile
  26. Blessed are you when people persecute you for the sake of Jesus
  27. Martin Luther King hated then, loved now. Blessed are they who risk everything for the cause of justice. They will meet God in Heaven. “It will never be over till the end”
  28. Transforming relationship with Jesus: You need a relationship with Jesus. Meeting with Jesus: praying alone, in people who are poor, in praxis with others
  29. Lecturing in Manchester in England and two young men wanted to be missionaries but they were agnostic. For the whole summer, you have to pretend you are a Christian all summer. They became priests
  30. Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me.
  31. You can find Jesus when you look into a man’s eyes.
  32. Eyes are the entrance to the body.
  33. Duck story, duck minister, duck Bible, “ducks, you have wings to soar like eagles, abilities to fly, live up to your potential”
  34. “Don’t waddle home”
