OCD Volleyball Player Code of Conduct
OCD Volleyball is committed to providing a safe and positive experience for its participants. As such, THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS ARE PROHIBITED:
1. Any action considered to be an offense under Federal, State or local law ordinances.
2. Physical damage to a facility or equipment or theft of items from a room, vehicle or other person. (Restitution will be part of any penalty imposed.)
3. Possession of fireworks, ammunition, firearms, or other weapons or any item or material which by commonly accepted practices and principles would be a hazard or harmful to other persons.
4. Conduct which is inappropriate as determined by comparison to normally accepted behavior as decided by the Event Directors.
5. Physical or verbal intimidation (foul language, threats), of any individual including, but not limited to; tournament staff, participants, spectators, and work teams.
6. Possession, purchase, consumption or distribution of alcohol at any OCD Volleyball Event where it is expressly forbidden
7. Possession, purchase, distribution or consumption any illegal substances
8. Actions that will be detrimental to OCD Volleyball and its participants as judged by event director/s.
If a violation is committed, please bring it to the Event Director’s attention immediately so the appropriate disciplinary penalty can be assessed.

After event concludes
Infractions do not need to occur on the same day to reach the fourth level. / Individual/team will receive a warning and lose 1 point during a match for any infraction directed at a work team or spectator during the game. If the infraction occurs after the game, the team will begin their next match down 1-0.
Individual/team will receive a warning and lose 1 point and their opponent will earn 1 point for any infraction directed at an opponent before or during a match. If the infraction occurs after the game, the team will begin their next match down 2-0.
Second / Individual/team will forfeit the current match if occurring during or before a match. If the infraction occurs after the match, the previous game against the team will be declared a forfeit.
Third / Individual/team disqualified from the day’s event
Fourth / Individual will be declared ineligible for OCD Volleyball events for a period of 1 year.
NOTE : / Major misbehavior (e.g. assault or theft) may subject the violator to a lifetime ineligibility for all OCD Volleyball Events.
