OH, GO MAKE A KITE!
Objective: explore your understanding of self.
Procedure:Ponder the following question:
“What do you represent to the world?” Jot down your ideas.
Then, design and create a kitewhich incorporatesthis autobiographical information. Use a regular size 8 X 11 printer paper for your kite.You may wish to create a tail for your kite to enhance your self-expression.
Kites must include the following:
- At least one symbol or illustration that represents you
- An inspirational quotation or slogan, or your own catchphrase
- Two questions you would want to be asked if you were being interviewed
- One image that represents your future after graduation
You can use images,poetry,or prose; you may create your kite by hand or with a computer. Perhaps illustrate details of what is to come after graduation (college? travel? career in valet parking?), but ultimately you are answering the question:“What do you represent to the world?”
Due after Thanksgiving break (11/28 & 11/29).
