Over the reporting period the steady growth in the number of new projects reported continue with a further 184 records added. There are now 3055 records in the system. Unlike previous observations, the proportion of records at different stages in the work flow reflects a marked effort by RCAHMS to catch up with validation and clear its backlog (figure 1). Elimination of the backlog at RCAHMS is reflected in the proportion of records signed off (62.45%). The proportion of records at the contractor stage stands at 22.59% represents the lowest proportion of records at this stage in the process since OASIS launched in Scotland. This trend is repeated less noticeably for records at the HER stage (14.96%).

Training and new users
No training has taken place during this reporting period. However, three new users registered and have started using the form.
Radiocarbon Form
Historic Scotland is now actively using the Radiocarbon form to manage the workflow of Funding Applications for radiocarbon determinations. There are eight live applications and three completed project records in the system. There are still issues with the email system to be resolved before the documentation can be completed. The form has introduced the academic community in Scotland to submitting information online.
