Field Trips: Enjoy weekly field trips with the YMCA through Highland Street’s Free Fun Fridays’ Summer Program. YMCA will provide transportation, chaperones, and snacks. Please come with lunch and appropriate clothes based on the trip.

Future Quest: Join us for weekly workshops on life and career skills with a new topic each week. We will have the Allston Brighton Task Force in for 5 sessions to share their curriculum regarding communication, helping friends in need, substance prevention, and youth activism. Other workshops will include Money Sense, Professionalism, and Resume Building.
Garden Club: Open to 10-15 year olds, learn how to grow your own food as part of the Oak Square YMCA’s new community garden program every other week. Produce grown will then be used in cooking club later in the evening! Registration is required for this program as spots are limited. Please reach out to Teen Director Katie Purcell at or 781-670-0135 to register.
Science Club: Enjoy hands-on-activities related to a variety of science topics. Every other week our sessions will be run by a local scientist!
Teen Workouts: Each week try out a new self-directed workout circuits. Weekly exercise routines will be provided and our floor staff will be available for questions. Help build your physical and intellectual health with some friendly competition.
Teen Nights: Once a month the Y stays open late JUST for teens. Enjoy open gym, specialty workshops, video games, dinner and more!
Dinner: Through our meal service program, we are able to supply teens with dinners every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Since meals are limited, they are provided on a first come, first served basis. Enjoy food while making new friends and engaging in activities surrounding nutrition and healthy living.
