Oak Furniture LandAppoints New Finance Director
The UK’s largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture, Oak Furniture Land, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Roberts as Finance Director
Ian joins the company following a hugely successful spell with Warren Evans, where he directed a major business expansion strategy through a store roll-out programme. Ian also has considerable retail experience during five years as Group Finance Director of a leading furniture manufacturer,where he played an instrumental role in transforming the imports division into the group’s most profitable unit,and extensive product sourcing experience from over fifteen years business in Asia.
A qualifed chartered accountant since 1981, Ian brings with him a wealth of experience and a strong commercial acumen. In his new role he will be responsible for managing financial resources and establishing a clear financial strategy.
