Approval of Minutes

Discussion / Motion was made by Kevin Richter to approve the minutes of 1/28 and 2/13/2015. CourtneyZoch second the motion. Motion carried.
New Business
Expenses: P card expenses were handed out by Cathy Lechmaier. Courtnay Zoch made a motion to accept the P card report. Terri Scott second the motion. Motion Carried.
Grand Event: Courtnay Zoch requested to run as Grand Event Queen. Kevin accepted her nomination. Inderjit Kaur second. Motion Carried.
Discussion / DSS meeting on 2/27. Terri, Kevin, Inderjit, Courtnay and Ernesto will attend.
Budget for 2015/2016. Each area was gone over and members decided whoch areas to reduce and raise but getting a 5% reduction over all. Each member then signed off on the budget.
Grand Event Candidates Dinner – MC will be Ernesto Gonzalez and assisting at the table will Terri Scott. Courtnay and Rachael will be candidates running for Queen.
Action items: Resolution by Kevin Richter on Pre Tax dollars to assist in reducing the student loan debt. – passed the sga assembly of members for oak creek with one member obstaining. / Person responsible / Deadline
Old Business
Recruitment Days: 5 new members for SGA and several other clubs were very successful in getting new members also. Courtnay Zoch requested that food not be given as an incentive to come to the tables. Issues with ESL students.
Black History Month events – Bring back Family Davis Band – they were great. Again issue with ESL wanting to eat the food and run but Cathy Lechmaier explained to the instructors the purpose of the event and food so the students stayed for the program.
WSG Conference – Meetings went well with legislators except for Jessie Rodreguez. Students loved Troy Strande and wanted him to come to MATC to perform.
Up Coming events calendar was gone over. Members wants the ice cream social to be included in the end of the year BBQ put on by the culinary students. Maybe a DJ also.
