Dunk Tank Policy and Procedure

Set up Procedures:

  1. Have Dunk Tank placed at designated area of use.
  2. Disconnect the two (2) cotter pins from the tongue
  3. Remove Tongue from Dunk Tank frame
  4. Put cotter pins back into tongue for safekeeping!
  5. Go to the back side of the dunk tank
  6. Grab the frame
  7. Stand the dunk tank up
  8. Untie the ropes holding the backdrop frame
  9. Unfold the frame
  10. Attach the yellow target frame – starting with the four corners
  11. Place the arm along the back side of the yellow tarp
  12. The short angle will go through the hole to the front of the tarp
  13. The long part will go through the frame and in between the vise grips
  14. Make sure that the plug is inside the unit before filling.
  15. Fill with water – will take approximately 1 hour with standard hose.
  16. Client is responsible for water source and hose.

Operating Procedures:

  1. No person should enter the dunk tank whose head will be under water while standing.
  2. The dunkee needs to sit towards the front of the seat – if he sits too far back his weight will allow him to fall into the tank.
  3. The trigger needs to be reset after each dunk.
  4. Never use baseball – only softballs or tennis balls
  5. Proceed with caution while climbing into and out of the dunk tank – can be slippery when wet.

Disassembling operations:

  1. Unscrew the PCV cap (plug).
  2. Will take approximately 20 minutes to empty.
  3. Will flood the area surrounding dunk tank
  4. Take off the red target from the front
  5. Remove the “L”frame arm from the back
  6. Fold the yellow tarp in half and close it next to the dunk tank
  7. Securely tie the yellow tarp frame to the dunk tank with a minimum of two (2) sources.
  8. Stand on the back of the dunk tank and rock it into trailer position.
  9. Reattach the tongue with two (2) cotter pins at the front of the unit.
  10. Attach dunk tank to vehicle with a 2” inch ball.
  11. Criss cross your safety chains and hook to vehicle
  12. Hook trailer hitch lights to towing vehicle
  13. Make sure that the trailer hitch cord is not dragging the ground
  14. Replace the plug back into the unit
  15. Remember to bring back the Arm, Target, Balls
  16. You are responsible for any damage or loss to rental equipment while in your possession.
