New items:

  1. Girls Lacrosse –Currently, 27 girls have registered on line. Additional registration is being handled by Steve and John
  2. Website – Jeff Sturm has updated all the team pages. He will meet with Lisa Bierker and Bob Denzer to teach them how to update the calendar for future events.
  3. U14 Premier League – Practice for the Premier League will start on April 9th. Additional practices will be communicated through Mike Feldstein. Games will begin April 10th. The schedule can be found on the NWLC website.
  4. Summer Registration/Program – Summer registration/Parent meeting was held on Monday March 21st and Thursday March 24th. Registration numbers are listed below:

3rd/4th – 10

5th/6th – 17

7th/8th – 38

Julie Sturm was contacted about a scholarship for summer league; she sent the necessary paperwork out and is waiting on a reply.

Lisa Bierker will set up account with NCSI for background check for all coaches.

Joe Dalman and Mary Ellen Feldstein are working on refs for summer games. It was decided that the summer refs will be paid using Pay Pal; Jeff Sturm will work with Mary Ellen to set up this account.

7th/8th A – Mike Feldstein, Tom Peltier

7th/8th B – Dylan Riukka

Tryouts for 7th/8th A team will be held on May 2ndand May 4th at Champlin Park High School.

  1. Swarm Chuck-A-Ball Fundraiser – NWLC raised $545.00 at the MN Swarm. There were 4 boys that sold the most “Chuck-a-balls”. Jessica Dressel will get a $10.00 DQ gift card for each of the winners.
  2. Rebel Youth Night – There will be a Rebel Lacrosse Youth Night at Champlin Park High School on May 7th. The 7th/8th A team will play between the JV and Varsity games. Opponent to be determined. Emails will be sent to all players registered for the summer program with details of the event.

The registration dollars for the girls program are going into the wrong account. We will need to transfer the funds. Mary Ellen Feldstein will get the correct account number and make the transfer.

  1. Ice Breaker Tournament –Fields and dates are confirmed for June 4th and 5th. Jessica Dressel will serve as the Tournament Director again this year. A tournament meeting will held on Monday April 18th. Additional minutes will be available for that meeting.

Jessica Dressel brought up giving returning teams a $25 discount on registration. The board approved this discount.

Tournament invitations/emails have been sent out.
