Force Soccer Club – Code of Conduct

Congratulations!Force Soccer Club (FSC) welcomes you and looks forward to having you as part of our Traveling Soccer Program. FSC is a competitive club within the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA), and we are excited about the upcoming soccer year, and we hope you are, too!

Now that you have verbally accepted an offer to join one of our teams, we would like you to more formally acknowledge your commitment to play and participate in our program next year. As such, please read and acknowledge the FSC Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Parent Responsibilities

Ensure that your players arrive on time and well prepared for all practices and games. This applies to equipment, proper hydration, and adequate rest.

Inform the manager/coach if your child cannot attend a practice or a game.

Be enthusiastic, and positive, in support of your player’s team.

Do not discourage in any way opposing players, parents, coaches, or referees.

Acknowledge good play on the part of both teams.

Show proper respect for all coaches and referees.

Refrain from coaching your child from the side line; this is the coach’s job.

Be positive and do not let winning or losing change your attitude.

Use the mechanisms available within the club if you have issues with a coach or manager.

Respect the judgments of game officials.

Avoid improper gestures and language; this includes racial and sexual harassment. Demonstrate and encourage good sportsmanship

Player Responsibilities

Ensure the appropriate equipment is brought to all practices and games. This includes uniforms, soccer balls, and food/liquids.

Perform up to your potential – as defined by the player and coaches.

Arrive to practices and games on time.

Treat opponents with respect at all times.

Avoid improper gestures and language; this includes racial and sexual harassment.

Respect the judgments of the game officials.

Exercise self-control at all times, set an example for others to follow.

Any parent, player, or coach not abiding by the rules above is subject to suspension and if needed, removal from the team. The focus and policies of the Force Soccer Club are set for the benefit of the players. All parents and coaches are expected to understand this and act accordingly.

I have read the Force Soccer Club Code of Conduct. I understand the Code of Conduct and agree to follow both theletter and spirit of the Code. I also understand that the Force Soccer Club will not tolerate racial or sexual harassment done by players, parents or coaches.
