Nurturing Parenting Program (NP): RegisterCompletion of the NPP strengthens your relationships as you learn and practice nurturing parenting principles. Parents play a unique role in their child’s brain development that lasts a lifetime. Nurturing Parenting is offered in a variety of formats:
- 16 group sessions:(Tuesdays or Wednesdays) Meet other parents and learn the Nurturing Parenting principles in once a week sessions. Home visit support is available from your facilitator.
- One-on-one in-home sessions:Set up a personalized Nurturing Parenting program to meet specific goals for your family with an in-home coach. Includes access to a Child Development Specialist.
- Nurturing Parenting Workshops:Learn the basics of Nurturing Parenting in any, or all, of 10 weekly sessions.
Baby and You:A fun & informative 4-week series (Jan. 10, 17, 24 & 31) for new parents and babies between 8 weeks and 9 months. These classes can help you better understand your baby and your family. Parents play an important role in their baby’s brain development – it will last a lifetime! Free baby photos for participants.
Best Beginning:Drop-in to this ongoing Alberta Health Services program for expecting families.
Child Care First Aid:Registerfor this one full day free course.CUPS program participants can gain skills, knowledge and confidence to prevent injuries and to respond to emergencies in your home and/or child care setting.Next class is will be offered in January. Note: Class starts promptly at 8:30. Next class is January 20th.
Come Sew with Us: Register Join Mary & Bonnie for an opportunity to use the CUPS sewing machines to make a simple sewing project or to do your mending. Space is limited to 5 sewing machines and/or child care spaces.
Finding Our Voices:Registerfor this 6 week group for women who have experienced domestic violence. Participants have the option to join the ‘Growth Circle’ for another14 weeks. Come learn from and support others who have experienced similar trauma. Facilitated by Sagesse (formerly Peer Support Services).
Nobody’s Perfect:RegisterCaregivers can make a difference in a child’s life! Come out to this basic parenting class for parents with children under 5 to learn how to strengthen their parenting skills! This course covers ages & stages, discipline, health, safety, and parent self-care.Next program will be offered December 7, 8 & 9.
Possibilities Group:Drop-inmental health group. Let’s work together to change your negative thoughts, improve relationships and solve problems.The 1st Tues. of every month we focus on socialization by playing games (e.g. Pictionary); 2nd Tues. our topic is Spirituality; 3rd Tues. is Mental Health research; 4th Tues. is Self Esteem.

Infant Massage: Register to build a deeper connection with your baby through massage! Massage helps babies relax, fall asleep easier, and grow emotionally and physically. It does wonders for your relationship! If you are pregnant, learn the techniques on a doll. For moms, dads, or couples – lessons are now available by appointment.
