PSFHS Nursing Services Education Plan: 2011 and 2012

The Nursing Services Education Plan is based on a needs assessment inclusive of feedback from:

  • Clinical Effectiveness
  • Safety Committee
  • Nursing Peer Review
  • Online Self Assessment by nursing leaders
  • Requirements from accrediting and licensing bodies
  • New policies, practices and procedures
  • High risk, low volume practices

Developed by the Professional Development Council, the plan includes online learning, storyboards, classes and individual teaching methods. Unit Practice Councils have identified unique unit learning needs and shared plans to meet needs.
