The Soil Association Food for Life Early Years Award has been developed working closely with early years settings and using expert learning from the successful Food for Life Schools Award programme.
Nurseries and children’s centres who hold the award have demonstrated they are providing tasty, nutritious meals in an environment that creates great social skills. They are also sowing the seeds of good food habits for life through practical cooking and growing activities and food-based learning - both for children and their parents and carers.
The programme is both commissioned by local authorities to support key public health objectives and available directly to early years care providers who are able to subscribe to a comprehensive support package. To find out more visit
