1. Introduction
In AIRAC 1402, navaid NTS is replaced with VMP. However, in the CACD, two airways UN741 and A5 still contain the point NTS. The IFPS procedure below is introduced to ensure that:
- FPLs filing A5 or UN741are modified in IFPS to ensure VMP on the FPL output
- FPLs filing VMP on A5 or UN741 are manually accepted in IFPS
Restriction EURO1000A invalidates any FPLs containing NTS in the profile (even if not specifically filed in the route field)
FPLs filing VMP on A5 or UN741 are invalid in IFPS as the point is not on these routes in CACD.
2. Procedure
Error: PROF204: RS: TRAFFIC VIA NTS IS ON FORBIDDEN ROUTE REF:[EURO1000A] LF NTS REPLACED BY VMP
Action: Insert VMP in the route and then apply IFPSTOP/START around this point over the shortest distance possible.
For example: routes containing MOKOR UN741 ANG/N0445F300 UN741 KEPER will be changed to MOKOR IFPSTOP UN741 VMP UN741 ANG/N0445F300 IFPSTART in IFPS and output as MOKOR UN741 VMP UN741 ANG/N0445F300
Errors:
ROUTE140: UN741/A5 IS FOLLOWED BY VMP WHICH IS NOT ONE OF ITS POINTS
ROUTE139: UN741/A5 IS PRECEDED BY VMP WHICH IS NOT ONE OF ITS POINTS
Action: Apply IFPSTOP/START around this point over the shortest distance possible.
