  • Click on your ELI and review your results, taking special care to click on the blue underlined terms on the left of the report. Answer these questions:
  1. What additional insights have you obtained about your own lens? Do you feel that you know yourself better? Why or why not?
  2. How do you believe it would help to know the lens of the person who is in authority over you?
  3. Compare how you think of your leaders to how you wish others would think of you as a leader.
  4. Develop a list of the concepts from your lens report that you want to emphasize as a leader. Which concepts from your report will be very important to avoid to become an effective leader? Why?
Step 2: Click on the Hot Topics Simulation (A): The Case of the Iffy Immunization(B):The Case of thePetrifying Prognosison your EthicsGame site.
  • Complete the simulation dilemmas, allowing about an hour for each one.
  • You will apply two lenses in each dilemma. Do not hurry through them; you have no time deadlines to meet other than the submission deadline for this assignment.
  • Carefully read the first two pages of each dilemma to ensure that you are fully informed about the context.
  • Each dilemma ends with a professional memo describing your decision and why you made it. The game will prompt you for each segment of the memo. You may prefer to write your memo in a word processing document and copy and paste it into the game. To do this, log out of the game, returning later to fill in your memo segments from your word processing document.
  • Once you complete and submit the memo, you will receive feedback on the option you selected as the answer to the problem presented by the dilemma. You have not completed the dilemma until you receive a message: Thank you [name of the dilemma] is over.
  • You may log out of the simulation at any time and your work will be saved. Click on the assignment link in this course to re-enter the simulation.
