Description for NSC 310 Principle of Nutrition in Health and Disease:

This course will provide a deeper understanding of the human body’s nutrient requirements and utilization of those nutrients. The application of basic nutrition science principles in the selection of nutritional therapy for a wide variety of clinical disease states will also be investigated.
