- Planning has begun for next year’s conference.
- Difficult Airway Training Center – Would like to propose establishing a contract to become an approved training center. The cost to establish this contract would be $ 5000.00.

- STEMI:
- Health system data collecting is now including 1st medical contact to balloon (started Oct 2016). Please make sure to obtain times from clinic when transporting patients from those sites. Encourage each agency to work closely with clinics within your respective districts

- Pulsara project – Working with hospitals and pulsar to get a quote moving forward; still waiting for the quote.
- Synergy: will look at continuing the publication only in an electronic format.
- Hospital Data:
- Data that is being submitted, through ImageTrend, to the state may not be 100% accurate. Would encourage everyone log into verify the data is accurate.
- Communications Center: nothing reported

- Working with the Legislature to establish an EMS bill in the near future.
- Texting and Driving is on the docket.
- Concussions in high school sports: HF17 identifies EMS providers to complete concussion protocol assessment
- Behavioral transport : no longer on the docket
- Use of safety helmets: no longer on the docket
- EMS memorial May 20th; please submit nominations by April 5th, 2017.
- Polk County EMA
- Active threat working group meeting on April 20th, 2017 @ 1000 at the Polk County EMA. This will be the initial planning meeting for the role of public safety departments, so that all parties are on the same page.
