Eligibility / All competitors must hold a valid BJA, BJC or AJA licence and must present this when booking in on the day of the event.
All competitors should be aged between 8 years and 15 years and graded 6th Mon or below on the day of the event and must have completed a grading within the last 9 months.
All Competitors must wear a white judogi.
Categories / Girls: -28kg -32kg -36kg -40kg -44kg -48kg -52kg +52kgs
Boys: -24kg -27kg -30kg -34kg -38kg -42kg -46kg -50kg -55kg +55kgs
British Judo TechnicalRestrictions will be used throughout the event
Method of Elimination / Pools.The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine or alter categories should entries dictate. Priority of age and grade will be considered where possible.
In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Tournament Director will be final.
Coaches: Inform the Tournament Director of any players who may need consideration
Contest Time / 2 minutes(at the discretion of the Tournament Director)
Weigh-In / Boys up to -38kg 8.30am – 9.00am
Boys -42kgsand over and all Girls weights 12.00pm – 12.30pm
All competitors MUST present themselves to the weigh-in wearing competition acceptable judogi trousers and females a white plain t-shirt.
Male competitors will receive a 0.5kg allowance and female competitors a 0.6kg allowance.
Entry Fee / Competitors - £10.00 Postal Payment (Cheques payable to North West Area Judo)
Spectators - Adults £1.00 (Payable on the day) – Children Free
Closing Date / Monday 2nd April 2018(or when the maximum entry has been reached - 100)
Photography / Please note: By entering or attending this competition you are agreeing to accept the BJA policy in respect of photography and video usage. The use of photographic equipment is permitted; however should a request be made for you to stop, then you should respect the wishes of others. Any lights or flashes should be disabled prior to taking any photographs of action on a contest area.
Coach Information / The ethos of this event is encourage and enjoy and will remind coaches and parents when coaching matside.
