Notification of change of wording from 2016
Page 20 (17.7): A player must only be registered for one team in the League unless transferred under the direction of the Registration Secretary at a fee of £1.00. Players cannot transfer after 30th June.
Wording to be changed: The fee will increase from £1.00 to £2.00
Page 20 (17.13): Any player registered in Bolton who intends to register in the Bury League can only play in the equivalent division or higher, after consideration by the registration panel. Team Secretaries must notify the committee of all Bolton Players applying to play in the Bury League.
Wording to be added to the above: Bury Teams will be limited to a maximum of 5 Bolton registered players per team.
Page 23 (21.11): Prior to the start of the season, each team in Divisions 1-5 must have nominated at least 2 named persons, Divisions 6 must nominate 1 named person and Division 7 must nominate 1 trainee referee who may be called upon to referee
Wording to be added to the above: Divisions 6 must nominate 1 named person and 1 trainee.
Page 25 (24.1 d): Failure to notify Referee’s Secretary prior to referee’s non-attendance £5.00 fine
This fine is to be removed as it is covered under 24.1 e.

Existing wording: A runner may be allowed for a batting player injured in a game (to commence at first base) with thereferee’s permission. The runner must be the first team member to be put out.
Reason for Removal:The rule is being abused by players that have a pre-existing injury. The runner causes anobstruction to players fielding the first base. In other sports a playerthat is injured or falls ill duringthat game ceases to play the rest of that game, returning to play out the rest of the season whenfit.
