Notice of Sale of Property for Non Payment of Taxes/Sewer 2014

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that I, Donna Cummins, Tax Collector in the Township of Bedminster, County of Somerset, pursuant to the authority of the statutes in such case made and provided will, on the 1st day of December,2015at ll:00AM at the municipal office of the Tax Collector, One Miller Lane, Bedminster, New Jersey, Somerset County, expose for sale the parcels of land as specified to make the amount chargeable against said lands respectively as of December 31, 2014, together with interest on the amount due to the date of the sale and including tax sale costs as listed below.

Industrial properties may be subject to the Spill Compensation and Control Act (NJSA 58:10-23.11 et seq.), the Water Pollution Control Act (NJSA 58:10A-1 et seq.), and the Industrial site Recovery Act (NJSA 13:1K-6 et seq.). In addition, the municipality is precluded from issuing a tax sale certificate to any prospective purchaser who is or may be in any way connected to the prior owner or operator of the site.

The said lands will be struck off and sold to such person as will purchase the same subject to the redemption at the lowest rate of, but in no case in excess of eighteen (18) percent per annum. The payment for the sale shall be made in pursuance of the provisions of Chapter 237, P.L. 1918 and the Acts amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto.

Parcels are to be sold subject to rollback taxes under the Farmland Assessment Act of 1964, improvement assessment installments not yet due and any omitted or added assessments for improvements as provided in N.J.S.A. 54:4-632 and 54:4-631.

In the event the owner is on active duty with the military, the collector should be notified immediately.

Redemptions before the date of sale may be made by contacting the Tax Collector for the amount due inclusive of 2015

interest charges.

ONLY CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK, OR MONEY ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED PRIOR TO THE SALE AS REDEMPTION AMOUNTS OR ON THE ACTUAL DAY OF THE SALE AS PAYMENT OF THE LIEN.
