NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Aging and Disability Services Division will hold a public workshop to discuss and solicit comment in consideration of revised language to Nevada Administrative Code, Chapter 435.
The workshop will be conducted via videoconference beginning at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 9, 2017, at the following locations:

- Presentation and Public Comment Regarding Changes to Nevada Administrative Code
- The purpose of this workshop is to discuss and solicit comment in consideration of revised language to Nevada Administrative Code, Chapter 435. The changes made to this chapter reflect updates to Supported Living Arrangements and Jobs and Day Training requirements. Additional changes were made to update the term “related conditions” to “developmental disability” in accordance with the passage of Assembly Bill 224 in the 2017 Legislative Session.

A REGULATION relating to services for persons with intellectual disabilities; prohibiting a
provider of jobs and day training services from employing or entering into a contract
with certain persons; requiring a provider of jobs and day training services to keep
certain records; establishing procedures concerning quality assurance reviews of a
provider of jobs and day training services; setting forth the requirements concerning
applications for and renewal of provisional certificates and certificates authorizing a
person to provide jobs and day training services; requiring a provider of jobs and day
training services to comply with certain requirements concerning the provision of jobs
and day training services; establishing the procedure for the imposition of sanctions and
the revocation of a provisional certificate or a certificate; and providing other matters
properly relating thereto.
