OF GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

CASPER/NATRONA COUNTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

CASPER, WYOMING

Casper/Natrona County International Airport is soliciting bids from ground support equipment suppliers who wish to provide specified ground support equipment for the Airport. Bids shall conform to the equipment specifications as stated herein. Questions regarding this Notice of Taking Bids or equipment specifications should be directed to Glenn Januska, Airport Manager at (307) 472-6688 ext. 12 or . Bids will be received at Casper/Natrona County International Airport, 8500 Airport Parkway, Casper, Wyoming, 82604, until 3:00 P.M., Local Time, April 14, 2008. Bids forms may be faxed to: (307) 472-1805.

The ground support equipment procurement contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. However, the Airport reserves the right to reject any or all bids, re-advertise for new bids, or waive informalities that may be in the best interest of the Airport.

Delivery of the ground support equipment shall be no later than forty-five (45) days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed.

Bidder proposes to furnish all necessary equipment, tools, labor, and other means to supply and deliver all equipment specified in the manner and time prescribed and to do all the work at the price herein set out. This bid is filed with the understanding that payment will be made to Bidder in one payment after delivery is completed.

The Bidder hereby acknowledges that all addenda become a part of the contract documents when issued, and that each such addendum has been received and utilized in the preparation of this bid. The Bidder hereby certifies:

  1. That this bid is not affected by, contingent on, or dependent on any other bid submitted for any improvement with the Airport; and
  1. That no individual employed by the Bidder has employed any person to solicit or procure the work on this project, nor will any employee of the bidder make any payment or agreement for payment of any compensation in connection with the procurement of this project; and
  1. That no part of the bid price received by the Bidder was or will be paid to any person, corporation, firm, association, or other organization for soliciting the bid, other than the payment of their normal compensation to persons regularly employed by the Bidder whose services in connection with the supply of ground support equipment were in the regular course of their duties for the Bidder; and
  1. That this bid is genuine and not collusive or sham; that the Bidder has not colluded, conspired, connived or agreed, directly or indirectly, with any bidder or person, to submit a sham bid or to refrain from bidding, and has not in any manner, directly or indirectly, sought, by agreement or conclusion, or communication or conference, with any person, to fix the bid price of the Bidder or of any other bidder, and that all statements in this bid are true; and
  1. That the individual(s) executing this bid have the authority to execute this bid on behalf of the Bidder.

  1. That the terms and provisions of the Notice of Taking Bids and the Instructions to Bidders are a part of this “Bid Form” as if fully set forth herein.
  1. That, if the bid is accepted, to execute the contract and other documents as required by the bid documents.

To commence the work on this project on or before a date to be specified in a written notice to proceed by the Airport, and to fully complete delivery within forty-five (45) calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed; and to pay liquidated damages for noncompliance with said completion provisions at the rate of One Hundred Dollars ($100) for each day thereafter that the work remains incomplete.

To be considered a valid bid, Bidder must provide a bid price for each item in the base bid (1-3). The Airport reserves the right to award a contract based upon any combination of base bid and/or alternate bid items as the Airport determines is in its best interest.

FORM OF CONTRACT

THIS CONTRACT, made on ______,2008 by and between ______(hereinafter called the “Contractor”) and Casper/Natrona County International Airport, Natrona County, Wyoming, (hereinafter called the “Jurisdiction”).

WITNESSETH, that the Contractor and the Jurisdiction, for the consideration stated herein, agree as follows:

ARTICLE I-SCOPE OF WORK – The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish all of the labor, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment and complete in a workmanlike manner all the work required in connection with the supply and delivery of Ground Support Equipment for Casper/Natrona County International Airportin Casper, Wyoming, and in strict compliance with the Contractor’s bid and the other contract documents herein mentioned which are a part of this Contract; and the Contractor shall do everything required by this Contract and the other documents constituting a part thereof.

ARTICLE II-THE CONTRACT PRICE – This contract is awarded and executed for completion of the work specified in the contract documents for the bid price shown on the Contract Attachment. Bid Items, Quantities, and Prices where were proposed by the Contractor in its bid submitted in accordance with the Notice to Bidders and Notice of Public Hearing. The Contractor agrees to perform said work for and in consideration of the Jurisdiction’s payment of the bid amount of ______, and __/000 dollars ($______.__). TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SUPPLY AND

DELIVERY OF GROUND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT

GENERAL

These specifications are for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for Casper/Natrona County International Airport. Unit descriptions, manufacturers specified, and photos of equipment represent a listing of equipment the Airport desires to purchase. GSE suppliers may submit equalivalent equipment in suppliers bid; however, the Airport shall make the final decision of equalivalency. Suppliers should provide as much information about the equipment submitted as part of supplier’s bid to aid the Airport in making such determination if supplier submits equipment as part of supplier’s bid which is not of the manufacturer or model specified.

Equipment specified need not be new unless specifically indicated below.
