NOTICE OF INTENT TO SELL REAL ESTATE
PEWAMO VILLAGE COUNCIL
On November 14, 2016 the Pewamo Village Council adopted Resolution No. 2016-11-14 stating its intent to sell a certain Village owned property at 105 S. State Street which will be surplus property. Sealed bids must be received by the Village of Pewamo at 130 E. Main Street, Pewamo, MI 48873, either in person in the drop box, until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Village Council will consider the bids at the public meeting on December 12, 2016. The council reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive bid irregularities, informalities, or nonconformities, to negotiate specific terms with any selected bidder (s) and to accept any bi that it deems to be in the best interest of the Village Pewamo. The council may consider factors other than the consideration offered such as, but not limited to, the uses to be made of the property, the amounts to be invested in the property and the improvements to be made after purchase, the ability to create a good faith deposit in escrow and other factors it deems important to determining what is in the best interest of the Village.
Description of land and building. The land and building authorized to be sold is described as follows;

Lot Size: Frontage of 87feet on Main Street and frontage of 34 feet to the parcel on State Street to make up described parcel of 2,958 sq. ft or 0.0679 acres (and easement in alley of 13 feet by 34 feet) additional access.
Zoning: Residential Density Special Permit for Essential Use Building government exempt.
Legal Description: Metes & Bounds being described as “The north thirty-four (34) feet of Lot Thirty (30) of the Village of Pewamo, except the west thirty (30) feet thereof, according to the recorded plat thereof as records in Original plat Liber R of Deeds page 802 in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Ionia County, Michigan.
Building Size: 31 feet wide x 66 feet long, one story 14 feet high on a slab foundation, with two (2) overhead doors on State Street size of doors 10 ft x 12 ft. One (1) overhead door on Main street size of door 10 ft x 12 ft, also 3 ft x 7 ft service door on Main Street.
The site has water and sewer systems from the Village Systems and is hooked up to public electricity utility and natural gas and uni-sex restroom, steel exterior and interior finish with asphalt shingle roof and aluminum gutters and downspouts.
Existing generator and emergency siren are not included in the sale of the building.
